How we manufacture your box

From a sheet of corrugated board to a finished box

Four manufacturing stages on video, paired with a technical diagram so you understand what happens on each machine.

01 — Flexographic printing

Ink reaches the board

The sheet moves through the ink stations. Each station transfers one color from the anilox roll to the printing plate and then onto the board.

Station
One per color: each ink is applied in sequence.
Anilox
Roller that meters an exact amount of ink.
Plate holder
Holds the raised plate carrying the artwork.
Sheet
Advances at a constant speed to keep colors in register.

02 — Die-cutting

The shape appears on the board

The platen presses down on the printed sheet and the die defines the box outline: cut lines and crease lines.

Platen
Applies uniform pressure across the whole surface.
Cut
Solid line: separates the piece from the waste.
Crease
Dotted line: marks where the box will fold.

03 — Offset + in-line gluing

The box is glued flat

The blank travels along the belt, receives adhesive on the glue flap, and guides fold it so the box is glued without losing squareness.

Belt
Carries the blank at a controlled speed.
Gluing
Wheel that applies adhesive to the joint flap.
Guides
Progressively fold the blank before gluing.
Output
Flat glued box, ready to be palletized and shipped.

04 — Automatic case forming

The box takes shape

The magazine feeds flat boxes, the forming arm opens them, and the body is formed until the box is ready to be filled.

Magazine
Stack of flat boxes feeding the line.
Arm
Picks up the blank and squares it open.
Forming
Bottom and flaps close to give it volume.
Output
Finished box on its way to filling or packing.
